From birthday dinners and baby showers to celebrations of life and corporate team lunches, our welcoming pub provides a relaxed yet memorable backdrop. With tailored layouts, attentive service and a selection of event menus, we make hosting easy. Our kitchen is also happy to cater for dietary requirements, ensuring every guest is well looked after

Our food is rooted in seasonality and quality ingredients, with Executive Chef Adam and Head Chef Jonny working closely with trusted suppliers to create generous, flavour-led dishes that suit both formal dining and relaxed celebrations.

Our Event Spaces
Our private dining spaces offer varying degrees of exclusivity, from a dedicated dining room to semi-private areas set within the pub. While none of our spaces are fully enclosed or completely private, each provides a defined area for your group to dine together comfortably, with attentive service and a relaxed atmosphere.
The Riverside Patio
New for 2026, our riverside patio provides a stunning backdrop for spring and summer celebrations, complete with a stylish stretch marquee offering shade and light weather protection so you can enjoy the outdoors in comfort, whatever the occasion.

The River Room
Our most popular event space, the River Room is a semi-private area on the ground floor, featuring high ceilings and plenty of natural light. It offers a welcoming atmosphere that works beautifully for both daytime and evening events.

The Nook
Located on the mezzanine level overlooking The River Room, The Nook is an intimate dining space perfect for smaller gatherings. Elevated above the main pub on the 1st floor, it offers a quieter setting while still feeling connected to the atmosphere of The Gomshall Mill.

The Loft
For larger events, The Loft can be hired for exclusive use. With flexible table configurations and a light, open feel, it’s a versatile space that can be tailored to your occasion.

"Jake, Matt and his team hosted our wedding party of 35 adults in the beautiful loft room. They went over and above to make our evening special. We were able to meet with Jake beforehand and he was so professional, so helpful and did everything to make the day how we wanted it. The food was amazing and the chef was flexible with our pre-order. This is a really lovely pub, food is incredible, prices reasonable and staff lovely. I highly recommend whether you're a couple or family there for lunch or whether you want a bigger space for a larger party. Thank You Gomshall for a wonderful evening."

"The staff on the day were fantastic, so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
